NAHL Springfield Jr Blues

FERZOW LLC was formed for the sole purpose of purchasing and operating a North American Hockey League membership. In March of 2012 when the Springfield Jr. Blues became available, FERZOW LLC focused all efforts on acquiring the rights to operate as the Springfield Jr. Blues and was granted those rights by the NAHL on May 1, 2012. To meet the minimum standards of the NAHL, FERZOW secured a 3 year license with the Springfield Park District to operate and play all home at the Nelson Center in Lincoln Park, ensuring that the Jr. Blues will be Springfield for the foreseeable future.

FERZOW LLC is lead by Dan Ferguson the majority owner and acting President of both the corporation and the Springfield Jr. Blues. As long time hockey parent and coach, Ferguson is dedicated to the development and success of the Jr. Blues’ players and organization. “Jr. Hockey is an integral part in the process of becoming a collegiate athlete, and our goal is to lead the charge in developing quality hockey players and productive members of the community” Ferguson stated in a press conference introducing the new ownership.

Alongside Ferguson to lead the charge behind the bench and as General Manager is Tony Zasowski, an ex junior and collegiate goaltender. Tony brings a wealth of experience from years of coaching and business administration working in the NAPHL, NAHL, USHL and ECHL. A graduate of Notre Dame, Tony demands a high level of commitment from his players both on and off the ice.
